I bought 3 of these sets in different colors. I am learning a magic trick that involves 2 different lengths of rope at the same time. I need 2 different colors so that people can keep track of the two lengths. This was the cheapest option by far to obtain multi-colored rope that otherwise look similiar. The rope is very soft and very easy to bend and manipulate. I had to cut it into 1 yard lengths and ends tend to unravel. I am experimenting with rubber cement to get that under control. I don't ding them for this, but the two ends of the rope as supplied were already a bit unraveled. The super expensive magic shop rope looks perfectly round with no sign of a thread out of place. This looks flattened and irregular and has obvious threads sticking out at very places. I can't comment on the strength since nothing I do will test that. I did not use a tape measure but I estimate the length at 25 feet. This is fine to practice with or to demonstrate tricks to family and friends, But no professional magician would use this on stage.
As for the blindfold, it was a nice bonus. I have used it simply to sleep better and it is comfortable enougth for that. This is third blindfold I've tried and it's the first one I can sleep in. It is very soft and comfortable. It has two elastic bands in back. I can position it so I get no light leakage. It is not a panacea, but it does help some. I don't seem to fall asleep any easier, but I do stay asleep easier.
